Sonya- Best Friend
Sonya was the best friend I ever had,
we were always doing things together.
When she moved away I was very sad,
she was my refuge in stormy weather.
Over the years I've thought about her life,
did she join Delta, so she could travel?
Or got married and became someone's wife?
I wonder, did her young life unravel?
But my friend had such a great attitude,
she was a positive human being.
Her optimism could change one's mood;
knowing her was liberating and freeing.
I'm convinced that she's flying real high,
as a stewardess in the big blue sky.
