Sonshine over Sunshine, Prayer for My Sister
The sunshine on the meadows green, the golden hills
in youth serene,
The seagulls calling off the Bay,
Of childhood visions;
us at play.
Oh, Little Sister Sunshine,
Before the dark storms came
Whilst still in town of orchards
When times were soft and tame.
Now decades past the glow of youth.
The days of sandstorm, and the truth
Your diagnosis, Little Sis,
How dreadful storms blow in like this!
Memories, the golden days,
We lived; we breathed is sunny haze
But yet...life holds no promises,
Except, there will be days like this.
Our ONLY promise sure and true
Dear sister mine, for me and you,
That promise learned in Sunday School
That Christ is Faithful, Sure and True.
We, sojourn now, the earth to see,
Christ's promises, He holds the key.
Now praying I, from on my knees
Your healing comes through Christ Who free's
It is He, assuredly, Who leads us through His victory.
He bore our sins, and wears our scars,
He conquered death, and even ours...
For we put our trust in Him, He shines through
Storms when life grows dim
The Deliverer, our King so true, rides into battle
Sis, for you.
Deliverer from sin and pain
Through every season, every age
I pray His healing over you, rebuking storm
Clouds...
The Son shines through.
Dear Heavenly Father, I lift my prayer
Which never vanishes in thin air.
You hear our every utterance,
We know Your Holy forbearance
Extending love, and every grace
Your gift of love to every race;
For God, You loved us, everyone,
So much so, You sent Your Son
That whoever believes in Him
Though days grow stormy, dark and dim,
He leads us through the pain and strife
Through Him we gain eternal life.
I pray now healing for little sister,
Deliverance from this dark storm's twister.
I pray Your will, in Jesus Name,
Who heals the sick, and lifts the lame
Who brings sight to the blinded eye,
Who opens ears to orphan's cry
I pray in His name, Christ our King
Jesus' touch, His healing bring.

P.S. I'm asking for prayer for my 'Little Sister Sunshine' who has been diagnosed
with kidney cancer. I know that I have Brothers and Sisters who believe in the
healing power of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and extend this plea for prayer chains of other believers on Chelsie's behalf.
Also, for His care and mercy over her battles she is facing and deliverance from both cancer and the fiery trials besetting her and her family. Thank you in advance <3
