Sonnet I
I wonder why I long for city lights.
I wonder why I envy city life.
I wonder why I miss the starless nights,
when memories cut like a sharpened knife.
I shall always treasure my childhood home.
Since i only have one to share with you,
let’s give it away and forever roam.
We can get an internal revenue.
We can move freely in this fast pace dream,
Together we can create our new life,
and we’ll eat Neapolitan ice cream.
We’ll do it all before the afterlife.
Don't be sad, just wait, let the day begin,
I promise that together we will win.
