Song In the Breeze
Her voice was a dulcet melody
Which I always liked to hear
But now that voice is silent
And the silence I can't bear
Moonlit shadows play among the trees
Darting to and fro with ease
A tune rustling in the leaves does tease
As I hear her song in the breeze
As Luna makes its nightly commute
I drift off in dreamy pursuit
Hoping her voice in dreams I'll hear
But dawn comes and finds me there
The morning sun in golden gleam
Awakens me from my dream
But just a simple hello from you my dear
Would be like music to my ears
