Sometimes Love Is Not Enough

No food in the cupboard
No milk in the fridge
The baby is crying
And Daddy won't get out of bed
Sometimes love is not enough

Angry flaring tempers, slinging hurt
You say I say
Must have the last word
We still wear our rings
Sometimes love is not enough

It's freezing on this corner
People laugh at me
My coat is tattered
I just cant get it together
Sometimes love is not enough
