Sometimes

Sometime our nightmares
	Stem from our dreams,
But then sometimes love
Is the only thread to mend our seams.

Sometimes our laughter
	Begins when we cry,
But sometimes what we see
Is the reason we turn a blind eye.

Sometimes our enemy
	Becomes our best friend,
But sometimes the ones we love
Are the ones we hurt in the end.

Sometimes we give
Only so that we can receive,
But sometimes what we think
	Is not what we believe.

Sometimes we become deaf
	Because of what we hear,
But sometimes the person we criticize
Becomes the person we see in the mirror.

Sometimes what we want
	Is not what we need,
And sometimes our failure
Is the result of our greed.

Sometimes our courage
	Is powered by our fears,
But sometimes our happiness
Is the reason for our tears.

Sometimes our weakness
Becomes the source of our strength,
And sometimes our impatience
Is the reason we rush times length.

Sometimes what makes us live
	Becomes the reason we die,
But sometimes our faith
Is the only reason we can fly.
