Some Graves
Some graves are places of wonder
Tended lovingly with utmost care
Listen closely to the whispers
Of hopes and dreams they share
A teddy bear to snuggle
Playing catch with your dad
Getting married to your love
Making the most of what life had
They wake to morning glory
Sleep under a starry night
Inbetween memories remembered
Days in their loved one’s sight
Heaven’s earthly veil is close here
Upon the shade tree, grass, or stone
With just a little Godly faith
We will never be alone
So those of us who visit here
Might never understand why
But still we are their caretakers
Until our own last goodbye
