Solstices


*
As
Winter
Approaches
The sun ascends
From the left of east, 
And sets due left of west. 
During daylight hours sits low, 
After winter solstice, gains height. 
Peaking when summer solstice arrives 
Then starts its orbital journey once more.

Dear Tom, you have described it so well, and not only that, you have created a hybrid form of the Etheree with your format culminating in the Christmas Tree - which is in Winter. Thank you very much IE, I too love that form and always challenge myself to create the perfect shape, also the heavens facinates me, NASA invited people to send their names and they'd be sent to one of Jupiters moons arriving in 2030, my names on a memory stick along with thousands of others. Hello tom, I am doing raking. There are more leaves to fall. It is tiring. Plus on Halloween there was fireworks. it staerted at 9:30 and ended at 12:15 I did not get enough sleep. then the next day more fireworks i am tired. I hope all is well with you. enjoy your evening my friend. /DArlene/

Tom I am with David and Lin on this. They said it better than I could have. You gave us a detailed science lesson that you use in this Poetic form which is difficult to do. You have done a great in conveying.

Thanks Lin Lol, it did at first but have done a few etherees now ,what drove me bonkers was finding words to make it slope 45. Actually it was your poem yesterday that inspired it. Tom
