Solitude-Solidarity

Stark against the night, a mighty midnight pine Friendless and alone, the strongest of his kind The innocence of youth, betrayed as we grow older The winter wakes and stretches, as summer nights grow colder There is beauty in the strength, life within the pain There is tension in the unity, tears within the rain Our roots extend beneath the soil of the searching soul A harsh tune of tenacity desperate to pay the toll
