Softly My Love
I crawl into the turmoil of life...where
black ravens plague this existence
bound by love and affection
I embrace you...you hold me tight
sounds of swift ivory doves cry out
never cured or full of deep blight
weeping in the forsaken land of my desolated heart's remains
where I was alone, seeking you
as the tempest rages in warm rains
I sense your essence in the breeze
the wind blows and gusts prevail
and
a million fairytales tremble at us
In the deepest realm of the darkest shade, I cried
yet you stay with me, longing for my hopelessness to cease
intense obscurity of the calamity I faced before you attains
I knew the pain of loss and despair you carried with ease
I found myself tethered to your understanding
fleeting into the ebon night, for our love loses not insight
sweetheart, you are my perpetual connection
your genuine adoration sustains
saturated in loneliness were you
my alleviation found in perfection
emerging from the dust I was found
descending onto my grateful knees
for I am a woman (*or man*) craving to be near you for all eternity
they know how our love does outshine with flickering light
and I shall feel this pure affection or you, my beloved...eternally

I crawl into the turmoil of life...where
where I was alone seeking you
in the deepest realm of the darkest shade I cried
I found myself tethered to your understanding
