Societies Insomnia

Societies Insomnia The true problem; is each of us. The true problem; is all of us. It is not their fault, as the cause. The cause is not their fault, alone. You can blame it on your neighbor. You can blame it on the NEWS. You probably should blame Russia. So, that the blame is NOT on you. We could blame the classroom teachers. We could blame the politicians. We could blame it on recession. But, never, ever is it you. We could blame it on their feelings, and we can blame the friends they keep. You can say ‘we need more programs’, so we can blame, the tax is steep. You can blame the corporations, and those that hold the three percent. But I’ll blame redistribution, as a suicide, last attempt. We could blame this epidemic, of the drug use by so many. We blame the pharmaceuticals, for addictions are so plenty. You could blame this generation. And you could say the kids are lost. But these kids have learned behavior, from the lessons that we have taught. You can blame the gun he’s holding, as a toothbrush, may be a shank. All this blame will not protect you. If we had learned, remembered spank. Our country, filled with hypocrites. In their mansions, beyond their walls, All the bleeding hearts self-righteous. Have enslaved us, as morals fall. Just look at our society, as our dignity; disappears. We need responsibility, and to stand up, as we are jeered. It was me! that shot, seventeen. It was you! that shot, seventeen. It was we! that shot, seventeen. As a nation, society! © 2018 Jeffrey Spencer God bless those who lost their lives 2018 February 14 in a Florida shooting.
