Societies Haves, Have Nots

Societies Haves, Have Nots

We all have something we hold close.

A memory, a fear, a dream we don't say

Tumultuous.  A clearly audible and we all

have not adequate time to fix everything we

Wish we could. We have enjoyable days that

Lift us up. We have not the affirmation they'll 

Linger.

But we keep shifting because pausing never

Anything preferable. 

We have people who loves us, even if we

Not recollect to notice.  We have not the

Faultless words to explain what hurts inside. 

We have brawn we didn't know we had until

Life constrained us too far. We have not the

High living of choosing every confrontation we

Face.

We have hope, even when it's miniature. 

We have not the map for what's in-store 

But we walk regardless because that's what

Humans do.
