So Ugly to So Cute

Often, in life we meet people and creatures so ugly
many are offended by how they look and turn away
judge them by their appearance and not what is inside
I am reminded of people that were born not idyllic
or by the result of an accident, fire, or other mishap

I observe it in nature with creatures that are so ugly
but in reality are the sweetest little beings from God
these imperfect humans and creatures are truly gifts
now, I take the time to attain knowledge of their story
for a baby is still cute even if not considered perfect

In this life something ... so ugly can become so cute
if you invest time and give them a place in your life

He was returned to the rescue 3 times in a year because he wasnt cute and sweet. I adore him and love him as is and I think he loves me too or at least all the treats. I rescued a street cat once, he wasn't cute at all, everyone said get rid of him, but I saw something in those scared eyes and he turned out to have the most beautiful soul
