So Much

There’s so much suffering I never want to see
So much profanity I don’t ever want to hear
Desensitised to never want to care
Hypnotised to ever need to worry

There’s so much pain I never want to feel
But self-righteousness makes me want to kill
So much turmoil that I first need to heal
But my world is so out of control

There’s so much love I want to share
But there’s so much hatred I fear
There’s so much warmth I want to show
But there's too much of which I’m unsure

There’s so much decay I need to improve
An empty void I need to fill with love
There’s so much temptation to choose death
Too much propaganda to know the truth
