Being kissed by snowflakes sounds enchanting, Jan, but apart from that I don't envy the cold of your winters!! Here we've had three lovely days in succession; in fact I had some plumbing to do in the back yard and I was comfortable in short sleeves. Hugs // paul

We are lucky the snow didn't settle but it did cause chaos on Friday and all the schools were closed and transport was disrupted:-( hugs jan xx

thanks so much Eileen i am never really sure if I've written a proper haiku or not:-) I woke with this one in my head, we've had snowy conditions since Friday but it didn't stay where I am but some other areas are still covered:-) hugs jan xx

Thanks Heidi:-) we still have areas on the Island that are covered in snow, it caused havoc on Friday when all the schools were closed and the buses couldn't run for a while and planes couldn't land as they had run out of de-icer at the airport !:-) hugs jan xx
