She casts
dark shades
of black
on white,
as fresh
fine snow
falls to
the ground.
She creeps,
in stealth,
to hunt
her prey
in still
black of
night, then
sleeps sound
by light
of day.
Her world
is cold,
as she
grows old.
Paw prints
sight, black
on white.
