Lovely depictions of a quiet winter scene, Wendy. Love the word, pirouetting. Not sure I'd be able to spell it in a spelling bee, though! Congrats ~ John

Thank you,P.S. I have not been able to write new poems recently due to another time-consuming project but it's nice to enter a few old writes. This one was recently accepted into a haiku journal. Many thanks for reading and commenting.

Beautifully done, "pirouetting" is such a terrific word for snow. I had not thought of it, but it brings ice skaters and their loveliness into my mind also.
