Snow
A child's wondrous view
Of ice
White globe on globe
Taken
From the wind's malice
With innocent glee
Scooped in the hand
The dust
Of water clumping
Against the breath
Of shivering coldness
Crystals
Yet not glass
Geometric molecules
Made beautiful
By difference
Individuality lost
In the collective reference
Of the frost
And light falls on it
In clothes of white
And is broken
Seven hues of blood
Splintering
Everywhere
White snow
White light can open
And show
A glimpse of heaven.
