Snow

Snow is on its way the forecast is heavy. Its been referred to the beast from the East the land will be coated once more in white leaving it looking bridal as it shining in full glory. Brr I like the look of it but the cold is rather too much as we shiver. Spring seems a long long way in the distance as we snuggle under blankets. All is sleeping its hard to imagine the beauty and warmth also the colours of Spring that will coat the land bringing joy to many.

snow cloaking the earth
no signs of blazing colours
warmth is far away

Dear Shadow, Congrats on POTD! You managed to nail the contrast between how stunning the world looks when it's all blanketed and that immediate, deep desire for warmth. It makes you appreciate how much we lean on the thought of spring to get through the cozy hibernation. Excellent! Autumn Blessings, Dear Shadow, Daniel

' Snow, looking bridal as it shining in full glory. ' Such a beautiful image to behold. And while the white confetti is breathtaking to look at, it's nice to have warmer weather indeed. Congratulations Shadow, on Poem of the Day. My best to you, always. :) Hugs, Brandy

It is beautiful to see the land lying draped in white linen, but the chill it entails makes the body shiver. When it's too cold, we feel that the spring is far away. A beautifully written Haibun, dear Shadow.
