Snow

Simple water vapor
Seeping into fair clouds
Slowly forming crystals
Sipping air, fluffy white
Sleek look on polar tops
Sheets of ice just two now
Screams Hot-Earth and melts fast

Congrats to you, thriveni. We could wish here in S. Indiana for hot-earth. School is officially closed for the third week of winter break. I haven't been out of the house since Saturday - ice is not melting.

A very interesting way to describe it. I had to look up the number of ice sheets to be sure it was true. I never even knew that. Congrats in my contest.

I am thankful to you for this pleasant visit dear poet. Yes, it looks prettier on cards. Yet, they are timely indicators of global warming - a siren no one is listening to. Happy holidays dear poet, New year blessings & best wishes.
