Smiling Eyes (Emiley)

Her eyes smile
every time
   she seems
        to enjoy herself,
    its mesmerizing,
tickles the heart
    just to watch,
her laugh,
                   intoxicating,
better than
             the best drug made,
          total poison
seeping into
the part of me
   I've tried to hide
and not acknowledge.
Her eyes
       scream at me
even though
     she's not looking my way
and still I stand back
     in the shadows,
better to enjoy the presence
than to spoil it
            by opening my mouth.
