Deep, deep, deeper ...
A dark so fluid I am lost
Swimming, choking, in ink
Still, I dive, soaring down, down
Faster and faster as I dive
I breathe now, sucking in light
And brilliance and purifying joy
I fill my being with blinding brilliance
And it strengthens me, faster
Just before I hit, I shift upward
Soaring into a glimmering indigo
Breath of knowledge and wonder
Against my cheek ... I exhale, impure
It hangs in front of me like tapestry
I soar through like a bead curtain
The next brane hangs in crimson
So thin I can see through it, tissue
But as I soar in and beyond it comes
It stretches and bends as if latex
Slowing my progress
Then throwing me back as it rebounds
No matter, I simply glide the other way
Picking up speed, up, up, up
Into a sparkling expanse of limitless value
Into an indigo void I glide, fast
I HIT!
I hit and am bursting through!
Layers and layers of diaphanous brittle
And as I explode each one there is a
Burst of energy in my mind
An exquisitely integral and clear pop of knowledge
Each one an incredible, awesome revelation!
Each thin layer smashes into a million fragments
And is absorbed by my mind
In what is an ANSWER!
The secrets to quantum reasoning!
The answers to light travel
And solving increasing mass!
Formulas and techniques and equations ...
All as yet unsolved!
All questions that hang in a void of time
That is FAR beyond our comprehension
Yet here they ARE!
ALL those answers, in front of me, crashing!
And each one a CHARM!
Each one is child's play!
But of COURSE!!
Why did we not ever see them in such simplicity?!?
They're all here, now in my mind ...
And why humanity has yet uncovered them
Or answered them is beyond understanding!
A child could grasp them - a CHILD!!
Why didn't I know these things before?!?
Why this purity of acumen and clarity of thought
Escaped ANYone before is beyond grasp!
I come to rest on a ledge of stone
Overlooking all creation
In its entirety
Future, present, past
Accomplishment and horror
Art, beauty, breathtaking perfection, destruction, keen
All ablaze in the light of a purple sun
All await the voice I search to find
The one at my core that will release
All that I have just acquired
In its nascency and immaculate chastity
SO simple! So fine and pure!
I have never felt so extraordinarily full ...
Of knowledge, of euphoria, of keen understanding
And of sanctified, unequaled JOY!!
Listen, now, to the wonders of the Universe
The answers to all the questions of coruscation
And perspicacity and REASON!
Oh, so SIMPLE, you will SEE!!
Of course - why did we not see it all the time??
Of COURSE!
All our questions, unlocked forever!
Listen, now ...
Listen ... blink, blink, BRIGHT!
Oh, dear god ...
Oh, no - dear god, no ...
Please, no!
I was dreaming, and now I wake!
Please, dear god, NO!!
Oh, god ...
I'm AWAKE!
It was a dream!
But I knew it ALL!! All the answers - so SIMPLE!
The deepest questions of humanity!
Oh, god, it was a dream, and now ... it's ... all ...
GONE.
