Good Day Andy: There is a saying that sometimes less is more, your poem is a perfect example of this (Slave and Can't Help It). All I can say is...BRAVO!!!. Respectfully: Sheol

Intriguing senryu . There are so many hidden secrets I can't guess your meaning but it brings lots of ideas that it could be. Thank you for commenting on my poem. Joyce

A deeply moving and thought provoking Senyru, Marty. A sad reflection of Societies effects on humankind. Love, Robin

Marty, how I wish that the more than 6 millions blacks knew what they got into & suffered for more than 4 centuries of slavery! Marty, your piece seems a revelation … keep fit. Canny.

There are far too many people who remain "hidden for so long," Martin. Very sad but beautifully written. Love, Carolyn

I like the simplicity of this poem. I also hide from society, although I'm still a slave to its ridiculous expectations. No way really to avoid it in this day in age. Thank you for posting, and taking the time to read and comment on my poem.

Interesting perspective--especially in hiding we are slaves to our fears. Much for the reader to think about. Thank you for taking time to comment on my poem. Have nice weekend. Karen
