Skyward Long
I long
to disappear
into this beauty
all that surrounds me
to lose myself
in wings in leaves
to be carried away
on a soft summer breeze
I long
to leave
not a trace
where all I have been
save the imprint on grass
where upon I did lie
till each little blade
resumed tracking the sky
