Over the last year I've been intrigued by the "six-word story," which has gained popularity, including the 2006 Six-Word Memoirs® project. What about a six-word couplet? This post consists of a total of six different six-word couplets.

It's fun to visit best poems lists of poets. i don't know that they always capture our best but it's very interesting to get a sense what people have faved of your poetry. I wonder if they have other ways of measuring as well. maybe by how many reads we get with these poems too??

oh my, how did I ever miss these. SO fun, Mark. My favorites were Singapore and Birth. I was born on LABOR day, so I get a kick out of labor poems!! Loved the others too!
