Six Years

Six years now and the seasons keep changing, people keep aging, the sun rises and sets, and your pictures are beginning to grow yellow with age. She grows tall, brilliant, beautiful, proud – like you. You would really like her, too; she’s singularly unique, proudly her own person and with a sense of humor you would cherish and appreciate. I hope you look in on her from time to time to nudge her in the right direction when she’s lost, or to comfort her in the dead of night when she’s in pain and just needs comfort. You’re talked of often and always thought of; Time will never diminish your impact. Though time may tarnish your pictures it shall never diminish the beauty you put in them. You are eternally young and sorely missed. Six years or six thousand … You are with us always.
