I tried to write a poem about you l couldn’t….tears clouded my eyes I felt that terrible sorrowful sinking feeling I just cried ….. So many years missing you Still wishing you were here Time has eased my pain and sorrow It just never disappears …..

My son died five years ago on the 29th of December. He would have been sixty next week. We take him flowers every Saturday, and his face is on our computer. I feel his presence; no words express how much he is missed. He died on our grandson's birthday. As you said so eloquently, Deb. It never goes away. XX

I choked up when I read your words. I lost my younger brother 10 years ago and miss him terribly. We grew up close; he was taken from us too soon. I long to write a poem about him, too. Need to focus on that. A lovely write, Deb.
