Sir, I Can Help You Retire

As a kindergarten teacher of 22 five year olds Monday through Friday, for 22 years and now in retirement, I must say, wiping noses, explaining permanent marker freckles to a mom when pick up times comes, or having to flush a small strange object down the can means : Peacefully reading poetry is quite an interesting change.

in today's world it's hard to retire or even move onto a new job. The younger generation is afraid to get their hands dirty or maybe allergic to the idea of work?!

My hubby won't retire. Everybody asks, "You are still working? When are you going to retire?" He answers "When they roll me out a gurney!" Lol, he hasn't found a strong young man he wants to have his job replaced with ;)

Yeah, Father Time does catch up with us -- reminded by a young egotistical, tactless snot nose. Yep, youth wasted on the young. Let him have it, and it will be gone inside a year.

Yeah, narrowed eyes, ruddy faces, gnarled hands and bent backs but still showing up every day to prepare the apprentices that would replace them...Ironworkers.....ya gotta love 'em....
