Never meet your Hero's Never revisit your past young Self History or Ancestry Like falling from a Tree Scar's and broken bone's remember Pretending words never hurt me Are woven into our medical records Like the sullied places our brain goes When we desperately do not want to be alone But friends are few and have more pressing things to do Than recant the blues of old news
