Since 1945

Rough ideas
sketches and drafts
builders of boats
some of rafts
dreamers we see
everyday
walking along
about their day
heads in the clouds
dreaming up spells
digging new trenches
boring new wells
some need tools
some need seed
designing gadgets
picking out weeds
mixing a cure
for a disease
they make look
done with ease
farmers with tractors
tilling the soil
mechanic at the station
changing the oil
building a bridge
tall as the sky
I just stand back
look and admire
composers of songs
writing a book
never taking long
taking the rook
making the bait
stay on the hook
fish with a rod
that reels in itself
watching the earth
from up on high
how far we’ve come
Since 1945

Technology might answer light years ... the human condition ask which way? And the cynic answer it is either virtual or a myth anyway ... I am waiting on my revelation. Love the way you prod the mind ... I am on the hook, my dear.
