Sin of Sloth
Endowed by God with life’s functional might
Yet wasting labor’s optimal delight
Slothful* hands, though repentant, fully earn
Dearth-angst for which their hearts defied to yearn.
*Proverbs 19:24 A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
