I want for love to be wild and intoxicatingly sweet- a lilac haze of laughter, the plumpest seed, gentle, like those mornings after two lovers mingled over kisses, yet hungry, even ravenous for more I want for love to sometimes become furious, bare its teeth and demand to be heard- it should feel uncomfortable at times, both foreign and home on the same land- its soil freshly plowed, healthy, and waiting to give birth I want for love to simply love me, and let my roots dig in
