Simply

Simply If indifference was a virtue As some claim it to be Then why doesn’t it serve humanity? Indifference, unlike love Is like a plastic plant Standing perky Although not growing Neither roots nor leaves Let alone fruit And some fooled by its appearance Will even want to water it But the water will do no good For it will not be allowed to do so Those that promote indifference Are haters of self Because in order for humanity to thrive We have to be interdependent Respecting and advocating The well-being of all Otherwise, life is simply living Without any essence Without any purpose Simply fake.
