Notes About The Poem

Photo of flowers in my yard, but a little blurry from the breeze.

Simplicity

Small, simple flowers bright as can be
Weaving in and out of the breeze
Turning a moment into full simplicity
As I walk under the cover of green trees

I realize, you only have to stop to look
Some things in life are clear, simple, right
Just as the small flowers or the clear brook
Quiet simplicity, will bring answers to light

I read it twice, I enjoyed it. Writing is like going to war with words, the battle infinite. I took it apart for how it works for me. Loved it. Hope, Love, and humility, vs Greed, power, deception, and vanity, which almost all mankind suffer from. Well done!

Congrats on your POTD Heidi, well done and well written. I was wanting to be one of the first to return your compliment of a few days ago on ' The Race' - which was the first, but Murphy's law struck and we had a power failure. It's winter in Oz and lucky it was night was able to keep warm in bed. I love those little daisies they are so delicately pretty and are a lovely ground cover...Maria
