Wow!! Good work in this one. Reads like a good contender for this contest to me. Way to go. I like ice cream and that really sounds delish, but I think maybe hot cocoa would be great after playing in snow and ice. Thank you for your visit to my blog. Sara

You are absolutely right, Sara, but I couldn't seem to get "hot cocoa" into my rhyme scheme. I hoped my final product sort of resembled a bowl with something flowing down into it. Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment.

This is a interesting contest.... I may try but not sure that the entry will be worthwhile as yours is. God bless you. Love, Gina

Thank so much for your compliment, Gina. I'm not sure. I've read a few others and there are some good entries. I had a time coming up with something to write. You do something good, I'm sure.

Nice job of combing the form with alliteration and the way in which you connected the two verses, Milt.

Thanks, Jenna. I really struggled with this one, but I hoped I was forming a kind of bowl with the top stanza flowing into it, which carried through with the idea of snow cream. I don't know. I was just floundering!
