Silent Wonder
Snow falls gently on the dead grass in the front yard.
I suppose it does the same in the back,
I simply can not see it from my small window...
where I look out upon the world.
I am not sad or happy.
The soft fluff makes no noise.
It covers the whole tree in a blanket of new, white!
The stars above glitter as the clouds leave, but the chilly flakes stay.
Not for long but long enough.
It was and is quite a show.
Even if I am the only one to take note.
I am still glad to have seen, no... witnessed the pleasant miracle.
