Silent Morning
I long, desire, to find that one poem,
That speaks to my anxious heart,
I random choose a strange sounding name,
Who are you, where are you, what do you say to me?
Buttons to push, you tell of your love,
Buttons to push, you tell of your sadness,
Buttons to push, you tell of mine,
It is dark here in this time of day,
I long, desire for therapy’s sake
To desire, to find, that one poem,
That speaks to my anxious heart.
Reading on, I find another unknown name;
You speak your soul to me;
Another, you laugh to me.
I long, desire, to find that one talking poem,
That soothes my anxious heart, and know
You are looking, longing, too and we
Become most mysterious friends.
