Ahhh, GRAMMAR!! It's....so..much...misspelled words I can't take it!!! LOL! I get your poem, even if it goes against everything I've been taught my whole life about silent letters. ;) It was tricky, but I liked that about it!

Well yeah, who's bipolar now!? :P LOL! True, I heard English is hard to learn. I guess I became so used to it, that it's nothing. There is a LOT of rules though! You broke them in here. ;) (Sometimes rules are meant to be broken??)

A bit contradicting after reading Confessions of a Grammar Nazi, eh? LOL! It's easy to make fun of English because every single rule comes with several exceptions... no wonder it's so hard for foreigners to learn it! This wasn't all that deep... just going for the laughs!

Hi Timmy; I like this - I too don't care too much for the silent letters, but they are there. What can we do? I couldn't a joke about a silent P in Spanish. it started in a doctor's office. I can't write it here. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

I thought Spanish didn't exactly have silent letters? From what I learned of the language, the rules for pronouncing words are a lot more solid than English. You will have to tell me the story... possibly over soup mail?

You're always so funny Eileen (or should I say Ilen?). This was all for fun though... nothing too deep.

Auntie, How can still waters run anywhere? lol. It's the swift running one that sweeps you off your feet and dumps you down stream.
