Silence Is My Thing of Real Beauty
To many people, silence is a bore
thinking it to be a real chore
wishing always to be in company
looking for another open door
Being quiet and alone is so hard
always needing company of lots of folks
such people like talking so often
maybe shows inferiority that's so broke
I must confess I love silence
it's such a peaceful feeling
there's a sense of stillness abounds
such abounded peace so appealing
There's something soothing deep inside
listening silently to an absent sound
full of expectation of what's coming next
it's like a special jewel you've found
Silence is my thing of real beauty
so beautiful words cannot explain
what others think ugly I simply love
a silent moment fully satisfies my brain
(This is written about something that most people find ugly but I see it as beautiful and that's silence.)
