Silence In the Sheen
Silently,
through morning's light gray sheen,
I see a figure coming,
coming towards me.
Through the mist,
she strolls up through the mist,
sublime, silvery beauty,
can't make sense of this.
Who she is...
I don't know who she is,
she speaks only in whispers,
I can't quite hear it.
Just a kiss,
a soft, unplanned for kiss,
it feels so otherworldly,
her breath just a wisp.
On her way,
she's moving on he way,
my voice, it has gone silent,
can't beg her to stay.
Rapidly,
I turn around to see
the woman now has vanished,
I search frantically.
The mist fades,
the sun burns it away,
the woman I see nowhere,
just another day...
There's the bus,
I cannot miss this bus,
my job is in the city,
sometimes it's too much.
But I spy
as away the bus rides,
the ethereal beauty
as she waves goodbye.
