Silence enables

Assume not we are body-mind
For this is a concept untrue
So we must leave beliefs behind
To feel within us, wisdom’s hue

If we are not this, who are we
Assume not we are body-mind
Are we not tied to our mind tree
Floundering about like the blind

Shifting to silence, we unwind
We connect with the universe
Assume not we are body-mind
Thinking is a disease, a curse

In staid stillness, heightens delight
For we are then, with love aligned
Our core essence is living light
Assume not we are body-mind
