~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While the gentlest sigh,
Shatters the surface of stillness,
Blending light with hues of wonder,
Broken thoughts, blessings, brilliance
Moments poured out on the seas
Music, melodies – lushest peace,
Aching songs, whistling through the winds,
Caressing the soul with a joy
Boundless breath of serenity, soothing
Sounding so much like the easy grace,
Falling through the oaks and birch,
Erasing the melancholic dreams,
Inspiring the soul to see, grasp the edges
Of a silence…
As she exhales smoking trails
Of restful things, gestures of grace
Sincere and unafraid…
Silence lingers on the edges of a day
Before night overshadows her light
With inklings of stars and moon,
Urging away the trembling truth…
Silence is beautiful
Silence is soothing
Silence is the ache – just beneath
A heavy taste of amazing…
A hearty hope, a promise, seclusion
A dream that leaves its lesson
A faith that leaves its blessing
A love that is the question…
Silence, resurrection… God’s gentle protection!
