Sights and Sounds
Sights and sounds at Christmas time fill our hearts with cheer. A special time when family and friends are gathered near.
The shops play favorite Christmas tunes to put us in the mood, as shoppers search for special gifts and lots of festive food.
Each house is dressed in colorful lights that twinkle through the night, and windows lit with Christmas trees are such a pretty sight.
The stockings have been laid out straight upon the mantle place, and candy canes upon the tree light up a tiny face.
Some moms are busy baking treats to share on Christmas day, and happy voices fill the house as children start to play.
There's turkey in the oven and the smell of fresh baked bread. Then later on, a little one is ready for her bed.
I now will end my little rhyme with wishes all to you. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too.
