Shut Up and Read

Just shut up and read
You know what you say
Can never compare
With what you write…
Shut up and Read

Your written words
Are the power socket
That with wet hands I touch
Electrified to the core
Shut up and Read

The foreplay begins
As your words bring to life
The passion you’ve penned
The melting begins
My heart in a flurry
The tingling starting
Shut up and read

Oh dear, oh dear,
Now shut up...stop reading
Reach out to me
Quick
Gather me in
You’ve earned what you seek
My hot breath on your cheek
My lips quiet the words...
Take me in
Shut up, SHUT UP!!!!
Let lovemaking begin

OH RICHARD...REALLY? If you only get past that bit of Sonnet 18 by Shakespeare (yea, had to look it up!) ;) you MUST have some other charm that is doing the trick! ;) BTW...be careful which of his sonnets you quote...Rumor has it that some of those were written for a young man! ;)

Well, of course I've tried it, never got passed, 'Shall I compare thee to a summe', before the poetry is out the window lol

Depends on who the listener is, Richard...Some people just can't abide by poetry...but you can always try! ;)

Wow!!! I love the sassy energy of this one. That second verse is SO cool. And I totally agree with Nette - The last verse is on FIRE!

;) I don't know...I hope it isn't offensive...I'm just trying to say that words.....written words are powerful! A new twist to..."The pen is mightier than the sword."....quote! Oh dear....don't know how to expound on that one, but I do hope no one is offended. Hugs!
