Shut the Door

You are not the reason
I am lacking nights of sleep
It's not your fault I toss and turn,
And on my pillow that I weep.

Do you think it actually matters
That you are mostly using me
I really could care less
And this you can believe.

I've always tried to be there
To listen my dear friend,
But when I need to talk to you
You don't have time to spend.

I know you are the center
Of your mini universe,
The most important person in your life
Is you...you must come first.

So if you think it's you
That I've been longing for
Turn off that bright bright light,
And as you're leaving shut the door.

I think we all know people who are this way. I have a couple that could slam the door because they are really into themselves. Love Phyl
