Shower Time

It's shower time for nature, The drenched leaves shake themselves free, The breeze dances with moisture, Clouds are on a raining spree; The power of the drizzle, Thirst quenched of the parched earth's throat, Tall trees rustle and sizzle, Kids are pleased with paper boats; Flowers rain-kissed are dizzy, Raindrops plop down on puddles, The streets are wet and busy, It's time for some tea cuddles; Rain stirs the heart, mind and soul, And stops the sun from glowing, Damp beats dripping chords cajole, Sublime is the tune flowing.

Very descriptive, wonderful imagery. Captivated from the first to last word. "Damp beats dripping chords cajole, Sublime is the tune flowing." Divine poetry.

Reads like a good contender for the contest. Way to go. I think we have rain on the way which is a good thing because we have been lacking. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara
