Shower Time
It's shower time for nature,
The drenched leaves shake themselves free,
The breeze dances with moisture,
Clouds are on a raining spree;
The power of the drizzle,
Thirst quenched of the parched earth's throat,
Tall trees rustle and sizzle,
Kids are pleased with paper boats;
Flowers rain-kissed are dizzy,
Raindrops plop down on puddles,
The streets are wet and busy,
It's time for some tea cuddles;
Rain stirs the heart, mind and soul,
And stops the sun from glowing,
Damp beats dripping chords cajole,
Sublime is the tune flowing.
