As his mind drifts upon silent shores of uncertainty, he ponders what was, what is and what is yet to come. He wonders why no one understands the pangs of his soul, unsure if his thoughts are heard, as they float away with the wind. Misdemeanors of his mind are plagued by battles within his heart, deliberating whether the seed of his creed will bleed or succeed. Before him lies a path infected by vermin devouring dead crows, behind him a collection of unchallenged emotions from a forgotten childhood.

What a perfect depiction of what people sometimes go through when trying to make some kind of important decision. My mama used to say, "Don't worry about things that have not happened" and that is a good way to live I believe. Take each day as it comes. It's never too late to enjoy blessings. However, it is so tempting to fall into the fear trap and never take a leap of faith. One never knows what might be right around the corner. My motto: Carpe Dium

Whoa! Talk about uncertainty! What's before him is so vile; what's behind him is so terrifying. He's marooned on and tethered to his present shore -- that of uncertainty... A fave for me! Outstanding, S.O., and kudos on POTD! ~ Gershon
