Shores of Deliverance

Peace was slain in the midst of mid-night
Tyrants in glee trampled the helpless ants
Music of brutal chaos reached the crescendo
Justice lay stupor, their liberty devoured
Deluge of hopelessness crumbled their homes
That once cradled fond memories of merriment
Of Christmas joy, carols, cakes, candles’ light
Their families shattered, lost to cruel night
Robbed of their dignity, they felt desolate
Hearts drowned in deep fear and vast despair
They were left with no choice but to flee
Into the frontiers unknown as refugees…

At this crossroads, undaunted they unite
Clinging to hope, they stay strong and fight
Seeking refuge in the Almighty’s might
They Topple the despots to restore their rights
To end it all with an Armageddon….
They Witness the resurrection of Peace in their land
That paves the way to the shores of deliverance!
