Shizon Zen

from ice to freeze
to hear below the breeze
shaped through the trees
a poet to be set free

I walk alone
during this miracle mile
still to know all the great while
the call of the wild

many are hiding beneath the garb of compromise
vain twisted lies
does it come at any big enough surprise
coupled for a minute to flee

from a land called mean
