From your home in the sky
Rain down Your love
From the heart who gives
More than a home
More than a heart
More precious hope than
My mind can comprehend
More faith and grace than
My mind can appreciate
More inspiration than my life
Can expect to honor
Shine down Your glory
Toward the spirit inside me
Rain down Your kindness
From the spirit that guides me
Remind me that your love
Is always there, a living light
Showering me with joy, peace
And all the love I’ll ever need
Shine down Your wonders
Filled with gladness and light
As I adore Your miraculous presence
Here with me, showing me the way
Leading me to the right paths
Steering me toward the honest things
The honorable and peaceful
The sensations of trust and bliss
Emptying me of worry and dread
Reassuring me that I have all I need
To reach toward my goals, my dreams
With expectation and motivation
Confidence that I have the strength
The power of One who lives inside me
Filling me up with His competence and skill
His ability to make every dream a reality
Shine down Your light of love
Breathe passion into my heart and soul
Wake up my imagination and hope
With Your wisdom and ambition, Your
Amazing vision which will assure me
That this desire within me is alive
Like a fire, a thought, a reverie
Filling me up with purest prudence
Feelings of insight, understanding
A penetrating hunger which hints at
The knowledge of a hope being fulfilled
A faith being proven – a light being stilled
By the blessed Creator, the life
Who colors my whole world in splendor
Assures my whole life of a awe
Which reminds me that love is the light
Which guides and inspires my life
Shine down Your wisdom and strength
Let me see Your glory, Your power pouring
Out a grace that penetrates my faith
And promises me that I always know the way
Toward the Savior – the light that I praise
Because He is the One who makes a way
Where there was no way and no appeal
He is the light that whispers His mercy
Into my heart and my life, through my prayers
Filling me up with a beautiful, warming Son
Who knows the way to lead me is with His love!
